Congratulations to the Fraser Marching Band on winning the First Division at their competition. The Marching Band Festival is a week-long event across the state of Michigan. There were a total of 34 bands that participated in this competition. This meant there were over 3,000 students at the competition. On Wednesday, October 11, at Troy High School, they competed in the Michigan School Band and Orchestra competition where they were scored in many different categories. The Fraser Marching Band earned 6 A’s and 3 A-’s in the categories of music, marching, and general effect/showmanship. This marks the 22nd year in a row that the Fraser Marching Band has won this award.
