Halfpipe in the Fisher Building
April 7, 2017
During first week of April, a halfpipe for skaters was placed inside one of Detroit’s most historic buildings, the Fisher Building. The halfpipe was constructed and painted in Detroit. It’s design was inspired by the Fisher’s unique architecture. Throughout the week, skaters, photographers and spectators flooded inside the Fisher Building to see the event take place. Food was provided to visitors every night. Not only were there skateboarders, but there were also some who flaunted BMX bikes as well as inline skates.
The halfpipe was stationed in the building from April 3 until April 6.
