Fraser Football 2015 Season Recap

The Fraser Ramblers’ season started out rough with an 0-5 start. Poor play on defense was the biggest problem as the Ramblers’ gave up 187 points in those 5 games. They were able to get back on track and reeled off 3 straight wins before losing the final game of the year at home to Sterling Heights High School. The Ramblers finished 3-6 overall and 2-4 in the MAC Blue division under first year coach Jon Skladanowski. Senior Luke Warchol set a new record for rushing touchdowns in a season with 11. He nishes his career with 110 total touchdowns, which is also a new Fraser record. Five players were named to the All League team this year: Walter Davis, Michael Mctigue, Grant Noble, Josiah Sarakun, and Luke Warchol. Warchol was also named to the All County 2nd team. Linebacker Grant Noble was an honorable mention on the Detroit News All Metro-East team. The team will graduate 25 players this coming Spring. Another exciting part of the season was the marching band and the half time shows. Many fans came to watch the shows betweens the halves. The marching band practiced
all summer and fall to perfect their show, A Touch of Buble.
