Broadcast Crew Awarded for Execllence

a2c6370a-889b-4506-867a-d9a142c955d9-FHSEMMYS2013FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE We have just been informed by the Board of Governors of theMichigan Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Education Committee that two students from Fraser High School are2013 student award recipients of three of the Michigan High School StudentTelevision Awards for Excellence. Two other students have receivedHonorable Mentions. These awards are intended to be an incentive for the pursuit of excellence in television production and to focus public attention on outstanding achievements in television produced by high school students. FraserHigh School received its awards for the entries in the categories: NewsStory: Jason Hartless, Audio Editing: Jason Hartless, Direction: Andrew Sokolowski. The award, “Pillar for Excellence” has been presented to FHS, and the students involved in the production received certificates. Kyle Lesher and Jeana Gondek also recivedcertificates for “Honorable Mentions”. Congratulations to our young producers for achieving excellence. Students will be featured on the NATAS website and in the program for the 35 th EMMY Gala Ceremony taking place June 15.
