Fraser High School’s DECA team made an impressive showing at the Michigan DECA State Career Development Conference, competing against 5,700 students from across the state. With over 10,000 members in Michigan, earning any award is a significant achievement.
Nouri Hollins and Aneko Nichol were awarded the prestigious Glass Top Award in Personal Finance, which qualifies them for the International DECA Conference in Orlando. Other standouts included Thomas Mina, who won three medals in Accounting Applications, and Scarlett Gervasone, who earned a medal in Human Resource Management.
Additionally, team members Jeanie Lemire and Amber Masinick excelled by securing two medals each in the Travel & Tourism Team Decision category.
Fraser High School celebrates these students for their outstanding accomplishments and wishes the best of luck to those heading to the international competition.
