Congratulations to the Fraser choir students who participated in the Michigan School Vocal Music Association State Musical Theatre Solo and Ensemble Festival on Saturday, November 9th, at Oxford High School.
During the festival, the students were required to prepare two vocal selections, each with a contrasting style. Additionally, one of the selections had to have been written before 1965. The selections were evaluated based on criteria such as tonal beauty, breath control, musical and language elements, interpretation, and presentation. Each student could earn up to 30 points.
The Performing Arts Department congratulates these students for their impressive achievements. Their First Division Rating has qualified them to audition for the All-State Music Theatre Honors Ensemble.
