Over the past month, Fraser girl’s cross country team have been competing and succeeding. The girl’s team qualified for states after finishing third in the region for the second year in a row. Junior, Lance Edgehill, also individually qualified on the boy’s team.
The girl’s states team consisted of:
- Senior, Grace Grupido
- Senior, Katie Cariney
- Senior, Gabby Miller
- Junior, Olivia Cereska
- Junior, Katelyn Frazier
- Junior, Kate Molloy
- Junior, Carolanne Hammer
- Junior, Jewel Zschernig
- Sophomore, Alice Foley
- Freshman, Isabelle Keyes
Grupido broke her own record multiple times this year. This year alone, she has broken the overall record 3 times and the senior record 8 times. Over her entire Fraser career she has broken over 40 records across cross country and track, not including this upcoming spring.
“I don’t think they are going to stay for long because I have a lot of good team mates and a lot of good people coming up from the middle school that should be able to beat me” Grupido says.
Overall, cross country had an incredible season full of personal bests and amazing memories for all the athletes.
