Have you ever had teachers switched up at school? This year, Fraser high schools
marketing teacher left after the first two weeks into school to go be a printable elsewhere.
Not only were kids transferring in and out of this class but now we were missing a teacher.
For the next couple of weeks, we’d have numerus subs until finally, a new marketing
teacher arrived. Her name was Mrs. Spinggs. Today I will be interviewing students and
herself to figure their opinion on this year’s new last-minute teacher and how’s it impacting
them.
According to Fraser student Devin Ferrell , he feels that the old teacher was stricter, and
essentially not as playful. The old teacher said if the works done, you’ll pass. Mrs. Spriggs is
roomier with due dates and rather explain assignments in game form.
“At first, she came off more aggressive and it seemed we’d be in for it this year but soon I
realized that she has rules, yes, but she makes assignments fun and is lenite with work due
dates. She also is adding additional school store food items for kids to choose a hot snack
for on the go,” stated Devin.
Although many people adored Mr. Forlini, the previous marketing teacher, Mrs. Spriggs kindly stepped up for us and has
done a great job so far. There teaching approches are different in many ways, but both are afficent and well-prepared. Mrs.
Spriggs focuses a new learning experience that involves games and fun but also a real life example to fully comprehend the
lesson while Mr. Forlini would teach examples and assignments given.
Mrs. Spriggs, Frasers new marketing teacher, had said she has to learn all these new
names and left behind old student connections but is hoping to make new ones. She may
be nervous for this new opportunity but seemingly joyful and trying to incorporate her ideas
mixed with ours.
“I hope to bring along my own ideas and way of teaching but still incorporate Frasers way
of doing things. It’s a new environment but I want to make this a happy, fun experience for
me and all my new students,” said Mrs. Springs.
I am unfamiliar with how Fraser picks their teachers, but I believe she knows what she’s
doing and have great new ideas she loves to spread. Defiantly a good marketing teacher
with her approach of assignments and ideas. She’s always smiling and explaining things
thoroughly, so you’re not left confused.
Ms. Yochana, the fashion design teacher, is Mrs. Springgs mentor at Fraser for learning all
the new ropes to our school. She is responsible for making sure Mrs. Springgs is settled in,
navigating canvas and teaching correctly within her ETA class. Overall, it seems to be going
well and we are happy to have her.
“I believe she is a great new addition to our school and will fill our minds with new ideas
and inspire creativity. I love working with her and watching her growth,” stated Ms. Yokanna.
