Fraser Band earned their 23rd consecutive First Division ranking in the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association District 16 Marching Band Festival on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at L’Anse Creuse North High School.
Along with the 172-member Fraser Band, 36 total District 16 schools participated in the Band Festival. This includes bands from Macomb County, St. Clair County, and parts of Oakland County. Over 3,200 students were involved.
Their First Division rating was earned through their proficiency in the music, marching, and general effect/showmanship categories. They received exceptional grades in these categories, adding up to 8 A grades and 4 B grades.
They achieved this feat with the support of the following team: Mr. Jim Rodgers. Mrs. April Fiedler, Mr. Sheldon Santamaria, Mr. Luke Woods, Mrs. Peyton Krantz, Mr. George Dunn, Mr. Nick Hunter, Mrs. Shana Fleming, Ms. Halle Gross, Ms. Sydney Maison, and Mrs. Diana Rodgers.
